If three of the same type allign vertically or horizontally, a chain is formed.

For each new chain formed, you get bonuse time.(1)

Keep moving pieces to build more chains and add more bonus time.(2)

When your bonus time runs out, all the chains you formed will be converted into the points and added to your score.

When you score points your game timer grows.

Score too slowly and your time runs out score quickly enough and you will push the timer to the next round.
